The Last Day of School

Field Day Was Awesome

We had a great time at field day yesterday.  We competed in a lot of events, stopped by the park playground, and went back to school to eat ice cream.  Take a look at the photos below.

Kindergarten Graduation

Here is information about Kindergarten Graduation:

Before Graduation:

-Your child’s cap and gown will be sent home in their backpack beginning Monday, June 15th.

-Invitations will be sent home in your child’s backpack Monday, June 15th. Do not lose these! You will need to bring these to the graduation to be admitted!  Your family will receive up to 5 invitations due to the limited space in the auditorium.

The Day of Graduation:

Date: Friday, June 19th, 2015

Student Arrival Time: 9:30 AM

Start Time: 10:00 AM

Location: Aloma D. Johnson Charter School

Entrance: Front Door on Jewett Parkway

What to bring to graduation:

-Your child WEARING their cap and gown

-Invitations for each attendee

-A camera to capture the moment

***Students will go home with their families after the ceremony.***

***Friday, June 19th is the last day of school for Kindergarten Students.***

O Canada!

We made a quick trip across the boarder to Canada today!  We learned many facts about Canada, such as they are famous for maple syrup and they speak French and English!  We snacked on some pancakes with maple syrup as well.  We can’t wait to see where we travel next!

   
     

A Trip to the Science Fair

We visited the Science Fair last week. We watched presentations by 2nd graders and learned about some really cool experiments!
